
In cooperation with Inmatec Technologies GmbH, the SiMoMix feedstock system was developed and verified in the injection molding process. Established feedstock systems were used as a basis, which are processed at Kläger as standard materials for components made of Al₂O₃, ZrO₂, or mixed oxides in large quantities.
SiMoMix is a combination of silicon nitride (Si₃N₄) enriched with an intermetallic phase of molybdenum disilicide (MoSi₂). Depending on the proportion of the additive, different levels of electrical conductivity can be achieved.
With SiMoMix, we offer the possibility to manufacture components from technical ceramics – with all the well-known ceramic-specific advantages and adjustable electrical conductivity – produced by injection molding, providing high design flexibility in an efficient, process-stable manufacturing method.
